Thaweephan Products Limited Partnership was established on May 16, 1994, in Ko Kha District, Lampang Province, Thailand, with the vision of preserving the traditional Lanna wisdom of “Khao Tan” — crispy rice crackers made from glutinous rice and coated with fragrant sugarcane syrup. Khao Tan has long been a popular traditional snack served during auspicious Northern Thai celebrations and ceremonies.

With the abundance of local raw materials such as glutinous rice and sugarcane, together with a strong commitment to supporting the local community, Mrs. Pannee Inprom gathered local villagers to produce and develop Khao Tan into a unique signature product of Lampang Province. The company enhanced the traditional recipe by improving flavors, product size, and packaging while maintaining the authentic Thai taste and heritage.

Thaweephan Products became the first Khao Tan producer in Thailand to use paper bag packaging, creatively presenting Lanna culture through local language, art, literature, traditional sayings, and famous tourist attractions on the packaging design. This concept helped introduce Northern Thai culture to consumers both domestically and internationally.

Today, the company continues to innovate and expand its product range with various flavors such as sugarcane syrup, cereal grains, seaweed, tom yum, wasabi, garlic pepper, and many more. We continuously improve our packaging and production processes to meet modern consumer demands while maintaining premium quality and authentic Thai identity.
